Your Path to America

It starts with a dream. Your dream of obtaining US Residency for you and your family. The EB-5 Immigration by Investment Visa Program is both an efficient and direct option.

EB-5 creates a path for successful foreign families to obtain US Residency by investing in an approved EB-5 project. It is one of the few roads to America.

The rules and regulations can appear daunting but we are here to help. As an approved Regional Investment Center, EB5 & Company can serve as your guide. If you are new to EB-5, our overview video is a great place to start.

EB-5 is both an immigration process and a financial investment decision. Ultimately, it is an exercise in risk management.

    1. Immigration: Navigating the program’s rules and requirements to obtain US Residency (Green Card).

    2. Financial: Safe return of your investment capital.

    1. Select a qualified personal immigration lawyer with extensive EB-5 experience.

    2. Select a Regional Investment Center with a track record of success and an experienced management team.

    3. Select a project that will be completed and has a strong jobs buffer (more jobs created than required).

    1. Rule #1 - Don’t lose money. [ref Warren Buffet]

    2. Selecting a project is akin to any private real estate investment. You are selecting a manager, an operator, and fiduciary to ensure a positive outcome.

    3. Grade projects based on both qualitative and quantitive metrics. Due your due diligence.

    4. Your priorities are return of capital and US Residency.

  • The majority of high-quality, risk-managed EB-5 projects offer annual returns (yield) ranging from .5% to 2%. This low yield is part of the exchange for access to quality projects that are focused on managing risk. Beware of high-yielding projects as they often incur higher risk factors.

  • Same rules as any private equity or real estate investment with an emphasis on risk management.

    1. Credible, ethical and experienced team (the entire team)

    2. Location and market analysis. What is being built, where, and prove it will succeed.

    3. Capitalization. Is the project fully funded with or without EB-5. Do the equity investors have substantial capital to support the project.

    4. EB-5 should be structured as debt with strong LTV (loan to value) to minimize risk.

    5. Can you trust this Regional Center to work on your behalf for years to come.

  • Rural projects offer potential processing and timing advantages, but at what cost or additional risk? A compelling location is a core tenant of real estate investing. Thus, selecting a project with a superior location and better predictability and success factors is, by definition, a better risk management decision.
